About Course

This course provides the basic skills of logical and analytical reasoning as required by companies for Campus Recruitment, CAT and also for other Competitive exams. The contents of this course include different techniques of solving problems on Coding and Decoding, Seating Arrangements, Blood Relations and various non-verbal reasoning concepts like Inequalities, Reasoning Analogies.

Course Outcomes

  • Apply efficient and appropriate methods to solve analytical reasoning problems.
  • To Enhance their problem solving skills, to improve the basic mathematical, logical and reasoning skills for any type of competitive examinations
  • Compete in various campus recruitment programs, various public and private sector exams.

Introduction, Classification, Alphabetical coding, Number Coding, Symbol coding and Decoding Techniques. Number and Letter Series,, Odd Man out .

Direction Sense

Introduction, Distance method, Facing Method, Classified models of Direction sense questions and Shadow Method.

Reasoning Analogies

Introduction, Classification, Word Analogy, Alphabet Analogy, Number Analogy, Preferential order of number Analogy.

Blood Relations

Introduction, Classification, Direct, Puzzle and Coded models.

Inequalities

Introduction, Analyzing of statements, Classification, Verbal and non-verbal models of Inequalities

Data Sufficiency

Introduction, Connecting words, Classification, Linear Arrangement and types, Closed Arrangement and types, Seating Arrangement – linear and circular, Complex models with interlinked scenarios, Ages.

Syllogisms

Introduction, Venn diagram, Inferential Technique, Application of Venn-Diagram method on Syllogisms
